The will of God is not a secret anymore. We can really know His will! The Bible says God...

"Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself"—Ephesians 1:9

God has also revealed the events surrounding Christ's Second Coming through his Word. But did you know that Jesus' First Coming was predicted as well?

Want proof? You got it…

Was His First Coming Prophesied?

Can we trust the prophecies of the Bible that tell about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to earth? Jesus’ biography was recorded in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, but was He recognized as the true Messiah? Did Bible prophecy tell of Jesus’ first coming to earth?

The answer is, absolutely!

📖
Bible Truth: The birth, life, and death of Jesus Christ was predicted in the Old Testament.

The three Wise Men who travelled to meet Jesus after his birth knew the Old Testament prophecies and recognized Jesus' birth as that of the long awaited Messiah. Yet His own people did not recognize Him. Instead, Jesus Christ was rejected as the Son of God and He was eventually crucified for His claims.

Christ's First Coming will remain the greatest fulfilled prophecy until His return. There are over 300 prophecies that tell of His First Coming, life, crucifixion, and resurrection. Countless prophecies of the First Coming of Jesus Christ to earth have been fulfilled perfectly. Not even one prediction has been wrong. Imagine that, the Bible has never been wrong, not even once. Over 300 prophecies predicted the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ before He was ever born. Now that is amazing!

So what does all of this prove?

The only possibility is that a divine God had to inspire every one of these future predictions. This also proves the unequaled power and accuracy of the inspired Word of God. Who else but God alone can make such stunning predictions? Truly the...

"testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy"—Revelation 19:10

Now knowing that at least 300 Old Testament prophecies predicted with 100% accuracy the First Coming of Christ, can’t we assume that the prophecies telling of His Second Coming are equally accurate?

Power of Prophecy Proves Existence

All of the miraculous fulfilled prophecies prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Bible is the Truth, the Word of God!

The Bible is unbelievably accurate. There are over 1000 predictions in the Bible and half of these prophecies have been fulfilled with 100% accuracy. The rest are currently in their initial stages and increasing speed towards fulfillment every day. Nothing like what is happening in our world today has been seen before. Never in the history has prophecies of the Second Coming been fulfilled at such a rapid pace.

The probability of such predictions, thousands of years old, becoming a reality in our lifetime is staggering. Doesn’t this prove God alone has divinely inspired the Bible?

📖
Bible Truth: Prophecy proves the existence of God

God has given us every opportunity to know Him. He has given us His precious Word, and sent his only begotten Son, and proved his existence through the undeniable evidence of prophecy. If you don’t believe God exists, it’s not because God has not tried to reach you.

There are over 500 separate prophecies that have come to fulfillment flawlessly. Only a divine power greater than any human could make such predictions. This is why 2 Peter 1:19 says

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:"– 2 Peter 1:19

The Reason For The Season

The day that Jesus was born the world was forever changed. We were alone, but God changed all that by sending His son,  Immanuel.

We are no longer alone.

Immanuel, "God with us." God is with us.

God is with YOU!

Sometime during this time of year it is easy to get caught up in the stress or the chaos of the Christmas season. But in this season of giving, remember that you have been given the greatest gift of all, eternal life in heaven with your savior.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."—John 3:16

It's a gift that is beyond our understanding, we are unable to even describe it.

“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!”—2 Corinthians 9:15

I encourage you to take the time to remember Jesus in your Christmas, after all, He is the "reason for the season." It's not about gifts that we give but the gift that was given to all of us through the birth of our Lord.

Wishing You A Merry Christmas

I will be praying for you and hope you have a very, Merry Christmas!

Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.

And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:

"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call His name Immanuel" (which means, God with us).

When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, but knew her not until she had given birth to a Son. And he called His name Jesus.

—Matthew 1:18-25

Spread the love of Jesus this Christmas and don't forget to enjoy the life God has given you!

Also, remember the Living In Epic Times outreach in your prayers. I have many new and exciting things planned for this next year. Please pray that this outreach will reach as many people as possible with the eternal message about Jesus Christ's saving grace. This is why I'm doing this, to fulfill Mark 16:15... to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone, everywhere!

Your prayers are greatly appreciated!
