God Wants You To Experience Peace And Life!

You don't have to wait to experience peace.

God Wants You To Experience Peace And Life!

God is truly amazing! Because of His precious mercy and grace He provides us with a look at our future through prophecy. He did this because He loves you and cares deeply about your life. God wants you to experience an eternity in heaven and all that life has to offer... including peace, right now!

Take a look at what the Bible says about this:

We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

We don't have to wait to experience peace; this is God's plan for our life today. Yet for most, true peace evades them.

The Problem We Face!

So why do we have such a problem being at peace? The answer is Sin. It's by our very nature that we our sinners, it's who we are. We can't change this. This sin has separated us from God. The Bible says:

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

God did not create us to be mindless drones who will automatically love and obey Him, we have free will. Because He loves us, God gave us a choice. The decision is ours, but if we choose God He promises us a personal relationship, a more abundant life now and an eternal life in heaven.

The Empty Void!

What makes a person feel as if there is something missing? Some people describe this as a 'hole' in their life, yet they don't even know why. They may try to fill this emptiness with many different things trying to find something that will help. They think maybe a relationship, work, food, or simply trying to be a good person will fill this void.

Yet nothing will ever fill this void permanently except God. Proverbs 14:12 says

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Good works or simply being a good person can't get us to heaven. Men have always tried to bridge the gap that separates us from God but they have always failed.

Isaiah 59:2 says

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

You cannot get to heaven through good works or even religion. There is only one way.

The Answer!

Jesus Christ is the only answer. God loves us so much that He sent His one and only Son to die for our sins. Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave to take away our sins. Take a look at what the Bible says:

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God (1 Peter 3:18a)

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (1 Timothy 2:5)

Jesus paid the penalty for our sins when He died on the cross. Because of His shed blood, Jesus bridges the gap that separates us from God. The Bible says

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

What We Need To Do

So what does this mean? We must trust Jesus Christ and receive Him as our personal savior. When you accept Jesus by personal invitation you become part of God's family. The Bible makes this clear:

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12)

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20)

Let me ask you this. Is there any good reason why you cannot receive Jesus Christ right now?

How To Receive Christ

Receiving Jesus Christ as your personal savior is the easiest thing in the world. Don't ever believe someone who tells you different.

To receive Christ you simply must:

  1. ADMIT your spiritual need. You can simply say, 'I am sinner.'
  2. REPENT and be willing to turn from your sins.
  3. BELIEVE that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
  4. RECEIVE Christ through prayer into your heart and life.

You can receive Jesus Christ right this very moment by praying the words written below. Simply trust and believe in Jesus in your heart and by faith, you will be saved. The Bible promises

Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

Here is a sample prayer you can use:

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I know that I'm a sinner and need your forgiveness. I want to turn from my sin. Please forgive me for all of my sins this very moment. I ask you to come into my heart and save me right now. I trust you and want to follow you as my Lord and Savior beginning today. Thank you for forgiving me and coming into my heart.

In Jesus' name. Amen
